Brain Defense Lesson and Curriculum Overview

Brain Defense: Digital Safety features a group of positive teens called the Brain Gang who teach their younger peers about:

Healthy screen habits,
How to protect their brains from addiction,
Specific refusal skills for turning away from inappropriate content,
How to deal with cyberbullying, and
How to be a good digital citizen.

What you can expect

After each of the five video-based lessons, your student will bring home a Home Connection letter (or you’ll receive one in an email from your child’s teacher). Make sure to do the role play with your child to drive home everything they’ve learned in class. One young student told us: “My favorite part was when I talked to my mom…”
